BLUE CRUISE

MARMARIS FETHIYE MARMARIS

Fethiye harbor, Fethiye, TurkeyDay 1: Boarding the Gulet

We board the gulet at Marmaris around 5 pm. Relax with a welcome drink at the pre-cruise information session. Enjoy an onboard dinner while meeting the other passengers. Overnight in Marmaris harbor.

Gokova, Marmaris, TurkeyDay 2: Ekincik Bay

The first stop traveling towards Fethiye is Ekincik. This can be a busy area due to the village cooperative which runs an excellent water taxi service to the wonderful Dalyan delta with its famous sandbar (a protected nesting area for loggerhead turtles). Once you reach the sandbar, your boat will follow a circuitous route through a vast expanse of reed beds to the ancient ruins of Caunus. This is an impressive site with a well excavated Roman bath complex, theatre, agora, Byzantine Church and many more recent excavations. But it is the Lycian Temple-tombs carved into the cliffs overlooking modern Dalyan which make this excursion worthwhile.

Gocek, Fethiye, TurkeyDay 3: Aga Limani / Manastir Bay

From Ekincik, our cruise will take us to the Aga Limani. Here we will have lunch and swim. In the afternoon we continue to Manastir Bay, where Cleopatra's bath is located.

Yassica island, Fethiye, TurkeyDay 4: Tersane / Yassica Island

Today we will sail through Islands of the gulf such as Tersane and Yassica Islands. On the way we stop for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Overnight in Gocek.

Telmessus, Fethiye, TurkeyDay 5: Fethiye / Oludeniz

Departure to Fethiye. Fethiye was known as Telmessus in ancient times, there is little of the old city except a number of rock tombs cut into the cliffs and the recently excavated theatre very close to the harbor. There is an excellent traditional market quarter for shopping with everything from pots and pans, fruit and vegetables to fabrics, towels and spices. Closer to the harbor is the modern center full of carpet shops, restaurants and souvenir shops. After lunch we cruise to Oludeniz, the most fabulous beach in Turkey and a conservation site. You can relax and enjoy the day or try one of the water sports or paragliding.

Cleopatra's bath, Fethiye, TurkeyDay 6: Disibilmez / Baba / Ekincik

A captivating cruise around the Disibilmez and Baba Islands will bring us back to Ekincik Bay. Overnight in one of the bays.
